I have taken a med for panic attacks for 15 years & it worked perfectly fine. Apparently my body has gotten used to it & it's not working anymore. The doc gave me a new one to try & I had a bad reaction to it so now I'm afraid to try anything else. I feel like I'm falling apart very quickly. Getting afraid to leave the house. I do work from home, thank God, but even that is getting difficult. Please pray for me.
I have had panic attacks since I was a toddler (in foster care, back home, et cetera), and have had medication reactions, bad ones, too...
I will pray as soon as I get out of this post.
And I recommend this mellow yoga (no religion, just calm, modified poses done by older teacher and students, no music, really nice):
It's called
Yoga For the Rest of Us (
Peggy Cappy) is the teacher.
I do gentle yoga every other day and it helps in addition to prayer, short walks, lying with my feet up the wall, church service (helping others, I mean), and such. (I am severely disabled, usually at home, so doing this gentle yoga really helps my balance, my blood pressure, flexibility, mood, so much...)
So, off to pray God's help for you. Remember that you are a member of an immense Body of Christ on Earth; never alone.
