Peace Corps

Does anyone have any experience in the Peace Corps? I just submitted my application. I don't know if it's something I'm doing for sure, but I'm definitely interested.

I have a couple of friends who joined and they loved the experience. Anyone else ever volunteer? The great thing is I can defer my loans and then get a little help paying them back as well as gain priceless experiences.

I've been wanting to devote serious time to volunteering and I think this might be an excellent way to do so.

I guess the only thing I'm really anxious about is meeting people my own age. I want to volunteer, and I'm not worried about living conditions. But, I'm afraid of being seperated from anyone near my age or who has anything in common with me for two years.
