And because resources are often assumed to be limited even when they actually aren´t, and hence life is played as a zero sum game even when it isn´t.

It doesn’t fit any popular narratives but this is likely the most peaceful time in human history, violence, poverty etc are all on the decline and have been for decades.

I don´t know - what I observe is that a lot of people feel
a. that they don´t get their fair share and/or
b. that they don´t get what they deserve and/or

Is equality a right or is it based upon equal opportunity, which if lost by self infliction, become the fault of the inflicted. With all having equal opportunity the only factor then becomes at what point is enough enough.

But yes we see an increase in those who have more purposely trying to take away the equal opportunity of others in order to gain more for themselves. Gain at the expense of others. A trait of fallen man.
