PDA mode?

What happened to PDA mode? I really need it to use this site on my phone. Otherwise this site is nearly unusable for me as most of my internet access is from this phone.

Previously, Christian forums had a version of the website suitable for PDAs/Blackberries/Smartphones. A lot of people surf the net on their phones now. I'm one of them and I really appreciated being able to go to CF and use the very low kilobyte version of CF, thus keeping my mobile data usage down. I forget what the address was - pda.christianforums.com or something like that, I don't have my phone with me at the moment. I know many users would appreciate having this feature back! Thanks.

Please let me know what I have done so that I wont do it again.

Over the last few days, my post would be double post and sometimes 3. But, I am not able to explain that except perhaps a glitch in the system.

This matter is trivial. No need to rush.

Unless of course I have done something I should not have.

The PDA thing was actually not a PDA thing but the Archive of the site...

if you go at the bottom of this page, you will see a link named "Archive"... this will give you the PDA interface...

the sub domain pda.cf.com will come back when the site is ok... sorry for the delay.

it isn't the same as the pda interface - that gave us the forum but in text version; i tried the archive and wasn't able to post replies to threads and they weren't in the right order

It was Christianforums.com/pda and it was a more limited version of the site with reduced graphics, not an archive that you could just read.

Exactly. It was a 'lite' version of the site - no avatars, signatures, almost no pictures/graphics at all. Just the textual links and some coloring for formatting and that was it. But you could post and read as normal. The homepage was only 12k to download on the lite version, if I'm recalling correctly.

I was using the PDA version as well back with the old CF.

If this feature could come back online, I'd be greatly appreciative.

Argh! Another bug! I'm using my laptop for the first time on the upgraded CF site and I'm getting those annoying "your post must be approved by a moderator" comments every time I post. I didn't have this problem on my desktop. Please tell me this is a bug that is easily fixed. If it isn't, I most likely won't be spending any time here because it is hard to get into the groove of conversations on the boards.

Can we get an update on this bug?? None of my posts will show without a moderator clearing them first. This makes keep with the flow of a discussion impossible! Will this be fixed at all?
