payment situation and computer not working

Prayers for justice and resolution are needed as my workplace has misplaced an entire week of 6 long hour-days that I worked for them and does not have the hours registered so that I will get paid for them. I don’t work for free, and I have a record of the missing hours, so please pray that I can get the hours added back onto my total and get myself paid for them.

Also, my windows computer for some reason has choked on itself and the start menu, connect to the internet menu, and settings menu all do not open. The rest of it works fine. I have reason to believe that a bad Windows Update is the cause. Please pray that I can get the bad update repaired or uninstalled and things back the way they should be. I’m usually pretty good with computers, but this problem came at the worst possible time.

The payment situation is being resolved, praise God for that! I should be getting a money order for some of the hours tomorrow, it will take some time to fully resolve, but at least I will be getting my money. Continued prayers!

I’ll let you know when I have some time to go after that computer problem, eh.

Both of these problems are still at large. I have a record of the boss entering the hours into the computer, but I still don’t have my money due to processing issues.

The computer has improved since I uninstalled a couple of programs, but this extended support update for Windows 10 on December 12th has really made a mess of the UI. No standard Windows 10 program will open - no Settings, Microsoft Store, Media Player, etc will open. Even the calculator is busted. It comes up with a window and logo and just hangs there.

I don’t want to upgrade to 11 because I still have Word 2013 installed and I don’t want to have to pay subscription for Word or Excel, both of which I still use extensively.
