Paul's Exhortation to Remain Unmarried

Do baptists have any regard for St Paul's exhortation in 1 Corinthians 7:7 where he instructs single and widowed people to remain unmarried?

I have never heard of a baptist who forsakes marriage based on this exhortation, thus the question above.

For a full time devotion to God and to become a disciple of Jesus Christ, one should give up carnal relationship. In Peter's case, his wife became a sister-in-Christ and helped in his ministry later! Married people can serve God and Jesus in building the Church led by celibate monks who not are burdened by family responsibilities!

Don't forget that Paul was once married, since he was part of the Sanhedrin and to be a member of the group you had to be married and have two children.

One cannot be sure of his marriage. However, one thing is certain, he longer continued with a burdened life for preaching!
