  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Can we discuss why did Paul say that Jesus appeared to Cephas first? 1COR, 15:3-5
Sure. Peter was the one disciple that Lord Jesus commissioned directly. Paul was also commissioned directly. Paul's main point was that Jesus visibly rose from the dead and appeared to many, including himself. If there is no resurrection, there is no gospel.

Yes this meeting was not presented in detail but it served to comfort Peter after he had denied Jesus. It is confirmed by Luke. The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon! (Luke 24:34).
Paul encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus.(Acts 22:6-11) Additionally Paul spent 3 years in Arabia where Jesus tutored him. (Galatians 1:12)

Hi and this is what I see .

#1 In John 19:9 that Jesus was to rise from the DEAD .

#2 , In verse Jesus n revealed himself to Mary first .

#3 , And Thomas did not believe , unless he saw his HANDS , and put his finger into the prints in his hand and thrust his hand into his side .

#4 We see that from verse 27 and 28 , Jews always walked by SIGHT .

#5 And in Luke 22:32 that Peter that he was CONVERTED , Peter was to STRENGTHEN the others disciples . And from 2 Cor 3:10-18 THAT Israel , in approm 40 years was to be set aside .

#6 ,Also the #12 means , PERFECTION of Government ,

#7 But to me the most important verse is in 1 Cor 15:8 when Paul was BORN OUT OF DUE M MTIME / EKTRONMA , where the BODY OF CHRIST was soon to begin and Acts 9:6 and and 1 Cor 12:3 , where Paul receive the HOLY SPIRIT !
