  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I saw Paul McCartney live saturday night at the MCI center in D.C. It was spectacular!!! He doesn't seem to get old at all and his music sounds top rate. He played some Beatles tunes as well as some new stuff and some work from after the Beatles, like with the Wings. REALLY great music. Definitely a concert I will always remember (considering my other two were Nsync and Sting [Sting was good too, but i was younger]).

Yeah, I saw him live a few years ago. It was the best concert I'd ever been to or probably ever will. He kept his voice top-notch throughout the entire 4 hours. It was well-worth the hundreds of dollars to finally get to see this musicial genius live...though I'm sure it should be cheaper!!!! Anyway, it was an incredible concert. I wonder if he's still using the same band.

The closest I came was watching him perform at halftime of the Superbowl last year. I agree...his voice was unbelievable. It doesn't make sense that someone can still sing that well. I don't know if it would be worth it (to me) to pay that much money to watch him play on a jumbotron. How I hate large venues.

It was large, but very very friendly. I mean we were all Beatles fans. And it was crazy how fun singing along with Hey Jude and the like was! Paul puts on a show--the best show I've ever seen in comparison with the Stones, Weezer, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Deep Purple, JEW, Lenny Kravitz (which was horrible), etc.

Paul just has incredible presence and an incredible voice. I really can't think of a better setlist an artist can choose from, as well. Just so very cool.
