  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

This is a lesson i learnt now from a course i'm taking :).

I think most agree. Waiting is really hard. Sometimes when we wait in God's presence, we tend to try and do something since we feel useless and unproductive.

"Isaiah 41:31 - But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

Waiting is like charging ourselves up so we can burst out in full power and potential. Just like a laser cannon. Charges up before a big bang. If its not charged up, then it's merely a little blink of light. (the laser cannon was just some silly thing i made up ;)).

“Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)
Alrighty God! :)

BTW If you thought i couldn't remember any verse chapters and numbers you're right. I sorta looked them up :).

GOOD POST!!! God has been telling me to wait on a few things...your "laser cannon" analogy gave me a little more insight into why!

Here's my favorite Bible verse: "Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." James 1:4 . Sometimes, God just wants us to keep at it, even when a situation doesn't seem to be going anywhere! :)
