I was wondering how many of you here have Pathfinders/Adventurers as part of your churches. When I lived in Ventura, we had a fairly active adventurer and pathfinder squad. In San Francisco I dont even think we have a pathfinder group (I could be wrong now since I've been absent for about a year).

Also did any of you go to Oshkosh, WI for the Pathfinder Camporee in 1999?

I'd like to hear the thoughts or experiences of how Pathfinders was for you or how it is now.

I was at Oshkosh in '99 as a chaperone - it was an awesome experience!

I thought Pathfinders was great! (back in the 70's) I remember best a counselor playing guitar and singing around a campfire at campouts and us marching in a drill team like soldiers. Lotsa other cool stuff now that I think about it. A good program that I wish my Lutheran church had. My younger son was in cub and boy scouts, but it's not the same.
God bless! Rick

We had over a 100 kids in our Pathfinder/Adventurers and to this day they remember it as one of the happiest times in their lives.....:)
