One other thought to ponder here.

Kelvin, prior to becoming a DHARMA drone, was an intelligence agent. The blast door map shows that he knew about the `Arrow' Hatch where the glass eye was found. He is also the number one candidate for sticking the orientation film fragment there. Now... just maybe Kelvin and `Patchy' were on some sort of `timesharing' setup with the Arrow? Maybe using it as a message drop or some such?

Benry says that he's one of the 'good guys', maybe patchy is one of the bad guys. either that or it's Spangler from Malcom in the Middle

Did a little bit of Lost related web prowling last night.

It seems that `Patchy' is slated to become a major character during the second half of season III.

Also, and probably directly connected with this, we finally get to see the `Flame' station.

Addind one and one together, I conclude that `Patchy' calls the `Flame' station home.

I do find myself wondering about one thing, though. `Patchy' were wearing the classic and ever so stylish `Dharma' jumpsuit, complete with logo. The only other ones we've seen wearing jumpsuits like this have been the denizens of the Swan Hatch (Desmond and Kelvin). The `Others' wear the Dharma stuff now and again, but not as a matter of course. So...is `Patchy' really with the `Others' - or is he an isolated Dharma holdover like Kelvin was?

I also find myself wondering if `Patchy' might be `Him' - or directly connected to `Him'.

Jacob Vanderfield is a member of the Board of Directors on the Hanso Foundation, from the storyline of the game The Lost Experience.




He was sentenced to four years for taking bribes from a Chinese cigarette smuggling syndicate. He served only six months of the sentence, and according to Persephone did it at a "federal country club" (probably a minimum security prison). Persephone speculates that Peter Thompson may have helped Vanderfield get out of prison early. Thompson was, at the time, the attorney for Vanderfield's fellow board member, Lawrence Peck.

I have a hard time separating the characters from the actors. I never expect Sayid to talk with a British accent, I was disappointed when Matthew Fox talked about being a liar, and I still think Juliette is Kerry Weaver's lesbian lover from ER (although that's fading, heh).

So yeah, I totally think Jorge and Hurley and alike.
