I haven't, but I know about the author. I've heard her on several podcasts and radio shows, she sounds really interesting. My kind of pastor. Pastrix, that is.

I've met Paster Nadia. I live a couple of hours south of Denver, and ran into her at the super market once in Denver. I thought she had neat tattoos, and was interested in why she was wearing a clerical collar. It was only much later that I realized she's this big author among liberal Christians.

I have met Pastor Nadia, heard her speak/preach at All Saints Church (Episcopal) in Pasadena. She shook my hand, signed my copies of Salvation on the Small Screen and Pastrix. Both books were engaging, thought provoking and fun to read. She is one of my favorite theologians speaking as one who has a Baptist and Lutheran heritages.

What's All Saints and sinners like? I've been kind of curious what the atmosphere of that church was like.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere there and felt really welcomed. Think of Lutheran/Espicopal liturgy mixed with joyful singing and a modern twist. is the only way I know how to describe it.

Alas, I'm over a thousand miles from Denver. I would love to take in a Eucharist in that church though...just for the true sense of what a church should be.
