I will assume that the test was a success.

Macrina, I hope that you enjoyed you nap. We had a small ice storm here in GA over the weekend. All is just about gone this morning.

Hey,

I am not new to this board, but it seems like it since I have not been here for a long time. I had to get my head out of the message boards and all their passionate chatting about doctrines. Some of them would leave my head spinning. lol So, after a season, I am back to posting and fellowshipping with others, and discussing issues.

I have appreaciated reading these posts in this thread. Cool to see you all share and interact with each other.. so, here I am. Let me share a little about me. (Even if I did months ago.. ???)

My name is stacie. I was called of the Lord to preach when I was eight years old, even before I was saved. I was saved at 13. God kept His hand on my life all through my youth, and then had to let me go my own way when I hit young adulthood. I tried to fit in with the world, but never could. Ha.. seems to me that our Father does that.. keeps us from fitting in, not allowing our own plans to work.. pressing us.. calling us.. seeking us untile we answer. Thank You Lord for being so diligent.

Anyway, I returned to the Lord and in 1981, He called me to be a Watchman. I did not know what a watchman was, so I did the Baptist thing (where I was attending) and got into apologetics. :sigh:

I went on back to school (which I had left: Montreat Anderson in NC where Kathern Kuhlman was, along with many of that line. People were being raised out of wheelchairs and ect... how in the world did I ever decide I had a better life than that path??? but I left) but I went back to school to get my degrees after returning to the Lord. After my Masters, I was headed into traditional seminary when the Lord opened up His own school for me and out into the wilderness. I am not the pastor of a church yet, but will be starting some tutoring classes in the future. I am working on the curriculum now.

My "specialities" per se are in healing and spiritual warfare.
My heart deepest love is the Lord. I would stay in my closet of prayer for the rest of my life just resting in Him if it was His desire, but He loves those sheep out there and for this we are being prepared... to bring them to Him.

I have found out that Jesus is cool (with honor and respect of course)
That my Father has a shoulder that I have always needed and I have learned just how much He is a good Father to me.
And working with the Holy Spirit is an experience all in itself.. still learning much here.. in all areas really.

Anyway, I would like to come on board and fellowship with you all.

Oh.. ordination: The elders of the First Presbyterian Church laid hands on me and sent me to college for study. I split. When I came back to the Lord and answered His call to me, He laid His hands on me and anointed me Himself. I thought this was all I needed. lol... that was six years ago and He says I am still to prepare .. so, I just obey and try to enjoy the preparation. I hold legal papers to do weddings and such through UCFM because the Lord told me to go that way. Basically, I am still learning in the prep stages.

Welcome back, Stacie. I think Jesus is pretty cool as well...

Many of us are still finding our way in the ministries that God has called us to. Let's work it out together.

God Bless You Marcrina, I was so glad to hear your experience and would love to converse ideas etc with you. I know that you have been blessed and at the same time the ministry in itself can be a real challenge.

How are you handling you taxes for your church? I also pastor a small church (non-denominational) here in Florida and was curious on how other people with small churches handle taxes. Especially when most of the income is from the Pastor and family.

There is a church member who deals with the church side of the taxes, although he and are are going to have to meet and figure out if it's going the right way. I am planning on hiring somebody to do my personal taxes... it seems like a frivolous expense, but really, clergy taxes are so complicated and I am horrible at this kind of thing.

Welcome, Stacie.

Thanks for your testimony. It's great to know there are other Watchmen in our midst. ;)

So, in the midst of your travels over the last 6 years, have you discovered much more of what is entailed in the Watchman calling, beyond that of intercession and apologetics, which is definitely a huge part?

There really is no other life like that of those called by the Lord to do HIS will. You've definitely come far, and may the Lord continue to move you forward toward HIS plans and goals for your life.

Hey all, once again...

Just checking in on my moving day, on a public computer... I'm moving back to Toronto in order to pursue ministry there with my friend Nouhoum and some other friends from Seminary. I can't giv much details because of time restraints right now, but I'll get back to you once I know more. Talk to you guys later, and God bless!
