i just wan to thank god for opening my eyes. as you will probably here more about i have a wonderful christian fiancee. we are getting married nov. 28 2006 (in jesus' name) on our 4 year anniversary. but before i foung god, closely, we began to have sex. i know god forgives me but sometimes i dont forgive me. but we both found god together and quit that horrible life. our relationship has improved. my life is greater. i claim that i am a virgin, for gods great mercy, but i am so happy that i learned.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

God blesses us when we make the choice to obey Him. In the area of sexual sin, it is difficult to go from active to not, so I am sure God blesses it double.
Forgiving ourselves is really tough. Especially whenyou are legitimately repentant. Just keep reminding yourself that you are a Child of God and that He has washed you and cannot even remember your sin any longer.

yeah i think it is really amazing how much god can change your life. i have a bible that has gods promises in it, and i recently read a promise saying that god does not only forgive but completely forgets, which i thought was abosolutley amazing. i like sharing my past, b/c im proud of myself, but mostly to help others
