  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What is everyones past pets? Here is mine.

1.) Excelcior (a.k.a Celcie) Celcie was my loving tabby cat. We had to put him to sleep due to cancer. We didnt have enough money to do any treatments on him. He was 12 years old.

2.) Fred (Freddy, Ray, Ray-Ray) Freddy was an orange and white tabby cat. He had the cutest half a mustache. He was such a sweet cat. We had to give him up though because of his urinary problems. We gave him to the Independ Cat Society. A no kill cat shelter. He was adopted right away.

3.)Curlie This was a cute puppy but a fiesty one. He bit my sisters pants. While they were on her. Needless to say we gave him bact to the humane society.

4.)Rupert He was our crazy beagle. And when I say crazy I mean Crazy! We had to give him back to the humane society because he disturbed the neighbors too much.

My cat Toby was my best friend. We got him just before Halloween in 1992 which was appropriate because he was aaaaaaaaaall black. He was such a pretty boy, and so sweet, I just loved him so much. He was my best friend. When he was seven, I was holding him one day and noticed a lump on his back. He had four surgeries trying to get rid of the cancer, and he bounced back from each one except the last.

My mom was so mean about the whole thing to me that I still haven't forgiven her. When he died, it broke my heart, and when she told me and I started crying and hadn't even said anything, she just said, "by the way, we're not getting another one!!"

I still miss my little Toby so much. Here are some pictures of him after one of his surgeries; that's a bandage wrapped around his middle.

Toby: September 15, 1992 - November 1, 2002  Love you, baby!!!

My favorite past pets were two burmese ball pythons; they start out small and get to be about 4-5 feet long, but not too unmanagable. Thy were the coolest pets I ever had!

haha actually the reason i dont have them now is because they broke out in a home i was renting and i lost them there... i wonder how big they have gotten since then...

huh, oh well!!

1. Chrissy-She was a Husky we had when I was little, I don't remember much about her, except she was an awesome dog. I laid all over her and she never cared.

2. Mitzie-Had her the same time we had Chrissy. She was a Pom/Terrier mix.

3. Petey-Beagle/Dalmation mix. I was young when we had him too. My parents got rid of him because they couldn't train him to stop jumping up on everything.

4. Katie-Dalmation mix. We had to get rid of her because she bit my brother.

5. Snoopy-She was our beagle, got her when I was in first grade. We just had to put her to sleep about 3 years ago. She was a really lazy dog, lol. I miss her still though.

6. Teddy Bear-my Quarter Horse. I got him when I was 14, and I had to put him to sleep last November. I still miss him. I could go on and on about him.

I've had lots of pets, mostly cats though (my parents where cat lovers). Anyway my favorite was my Cat Misty. I had her from ages 11-22 (she passed away last year  ). I used to call her my little sister. Sounds weird but we used to play tag and hide and go seek lol ^_^ . I miss her.

I had lots of cats when I was still in Indonesia coz there are lots of stray cats that just turn up in your house, hehehe.. don't have to buy them and they're really cute.

Anyway, of all my cats, there are 2 cats that I like the most..
Multi, named after my mum's MLM business, is a white cat with black and brown patches, she was the first cat my dad allowed us to keep in the house coz she was persistent. My dad doesn't like stray cats or any cats so he kicked her out 3 times but she kept coming into our house, guess why? Coz we kids kept feeding her hehehe..

Then after a while, Multi started having kittens, I think 4 or 5 times. Everytime the kittens grew bigger and could find their own food, my dad would take them to the local market so they could live there otherwise there would be too many cats to handle.

One of those kittens, I named him Shijo after my favorite Japanese comic character. I think he was the third generation. He was so fat and cute we decided to keep him as well. He's white orange.

While I'm here in Aussie, both cats disappeared don't know where they went :(
But I always remember them as my favorite cats :)

Past Pets... here we go...

I had a Cat named Hungry Jack... because he was always hungry...
I had a dog named Blackie, who was a stray, and liked to pull sheets off the line
Then I had an abundance of guinea pigs
And then I got a Tabby cat with the unfortunate name of Willy
And then I had a little white cat called Pascali... (named after a white rose)... he was a cutie :)
And then we got a balinese cat that was very sweet.. a little bit stuffy, but very cute...
And now I have my little black & white cat called Ninja...

My first pet was a goldfish when I was four. Only lived for about a week though. :D

I didn't get another pet until I was a teenager, we rescued a cat from a blizzard that dumped 2 1/2 feet of snow where I lived. We still have her. I also got two guniea pigs a year ago as well. Still have them too. :)

My most favorite pets are still living thank God. They are Simba, my Mom's beautiful Siamese :D; Peppy, my Cockatiel; and Charlie, my English Parakeet. My favorite past pets would have to be: Lady, my Dad's former Cocker Spaniel; Toby, a beautiful black and gray Tabby from my childhood; JR, a beautiful orange Tabby from my childhood which was Toby's brother; and a Siamese that my Dad had and can't remember his name.

Simba, my Mom's Siamese, would have to be my most favorite pet ever by far. I have never in my life seen such a beautiful and friendly Siamese in my entire life. He's also got the funniest personality! He is very much spoiled and knows that he is king of the house. ^_^ In fact, he is so spoiled that sometimes when we let him in the house, he won't climb up the 3 stairs (even though he's perfectly capable) and will sit there and look at us until someone picks him up and carries him in. He has been this way since he was a kitten. :D Also, if he wants to be fed he butters you up by rubbing up against your leg and meowing loudly until you feed him. ^_^ I could tell tons of stories about my Mom's wonderful Siamese but it'd take up multiple pages. Simba is about 7 years old now. His full name is Simba Joseph and with our family's last name.
