Ever wonder why it is so hard to witness to some people?
Ephesians 4
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
Past feeling, is a statment that litteraly frightens me for them. I was one of the lucky. I HEARD the voice of God. But I had to feel it to hear it. You see, it wasn't sound. But it was a power. Strangly when I felt the power I understood the words inside the power. It was so clear it may as well have been audiable. So even I had feeling.
Acts 17
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
This hardness of being unable to feel is like stony ground. So the question i......................LOL!
I was going to say how do you break the stone up.
Matthew 21
44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
The bigger stone breaks the tender who fall upon it. It's like opening the soft ground to put a seedling into it.
But the hard stone is ground to powder by the larger. It softens the stone up under the preasure and heat and grinds it to a soft powder.
Some must be humbled and broken in life. God is able to break the proud and hard. We must pray for them. We must also not fail to preach the word even when they don't like it. When they are crushed we will be the ones they turn to. And after the softening they will feel after Him.
