Pilate attained his office due to the influence a man called Sejanus, commander of the Praetorian Guard (the Emperors personal body guards.) Upon receiving his office, Pilate, as procurator, would have been given a ring bearing the words 'Friend of Caesar.'

In 31 AD, Sejanus was implicated in a plot to overthrow the Emperor; he, his family, and nearly anyone associated with him were executed EXCEPT for Pilate.

At this time also, there were several influential Jews in Rome who had access to the Emperor.

When Jesus was brought before Pilate, he was reluctant to execute him. Then the mob made this threat: 'If you relase this man, you are no friend of Caesars'!'

At this point, Pilate caves. What was the threat implicit in those words? 'We could remind the Emperor that you are still alive!'

This threat would have been meaningless before the 31 AD. This leads me to conclude that Jesus was crucified some time AFTER that. The next likely candidate that is even close on weekdays is 33 AD.

33 AD=35 AD. On this side of 0 AD there is a two year gap. Yahshua was born 4 BC. There is also a 140 year gap between the Holy Hebrew Calender and the Civil Hebrew Calender. The lunar Hebrew calender was changed to give proof that Bar Kochba was the Messiah.

This still doesn't stop 33 Ad from being true.
