Pretty sure you couldn't send yourself lottery numbers (and I'm assuming cheat the lotto with them). That aside, no reason why you couldn't create a little artificial star, as it were. Could be interesting.

Here's an idea for passive time travel - by the sheer power of doing absolutely naff-all, you will travel into the future at the rate of one second per second.

In 12 months, you'll have travelled a year into the future!

I'm guessing you haven't spent much time around 4chan then. Good for you . There's nothing more to the troll fellow than what you're seeing. Everything you need to know is given away in the name, really.

You know, your other thread also mentioned getting rich through physics. Young Wiccan! You must not use your powers for evil! But (cough) I was thinking:

If you set up enough mirrors around the surface of the earth so that you could get light to circle the earth about 140 times, you'd get about a 20 second window into the past, right? That should be more than enough time if you could get your past self to execute quick electronic trades of volatile stocks.
