When I look around me, a lot of people are missing that "joy" and "passion" on their faces. Some pastors are missing that passion in their preaching. Religion and churches have become like secular businesses, demanding memberships to collect 10% for tithing purposes.
What happened to the true meaning of preaching and being passionate about one's faith? I recently shared this thought with a Christian pastor and he agrees that there are just not enough believers who are "passionate" about their faith. People are just going through the motions, trying to do good deeds to earn their way into Heaven.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but something just doesn't seem right about the churches of today. My husband and I must have visited over 12 churches when we lived in Georgia, and none of them treated us with open arms because they expected us to become a "member" after one month.
Hypocrites are so many...very scary.
