Did yo'll know that the guy who made the movie edited the movie!
What do you think?
I think he should have just kept it the same & changed nothing in the movie!
That hardly even showed what Jesus had go to! ( pain wise) I'm a little mad cause of what he did! I can't believe he edited Passion of Christ!
Its coming out in march 2005!

I think he should have kept it the same, but I can understand why he did it. Maybe more people will want to watch it now that the tortorous scenes have been cut out.

the passion was a horrible movie with no narrative. when i say movie, i mean a story. a coherent story with engaging characters and dialogue. the passion had none of these things. it was made for a specific audience where no background story was necessary.

I will be interested in a less graphic movie. . .the original Passion of The Christ was almost unbarable, in terms of how graphic it was. I understand that Mel Gibson wanted to really get to the heart of his audience with such extreme dipictions. . .but I just couldnt handle it. I spent most of the movie shielding my tear flowing eyes.

I actually don't believe so. Mel Gibson is very open about his faith. From what I have seen, he has extreme love for God. I believe he did this for Him.

The Passion was a horrible movie to Hollywood, I'm sure. But to some Christians it was deeply profound.

I listened to an interview with Mel Gibson the other day on AFR (American Family Radio), and he said the reason he is re-releasing a "tamed down" version is because of the concerns of some people who wanted to watch the film, or take children to it, or older folks who just couldn't take the graphic detail of the film, and made it more presentable to a more diverse audience. The gore is depleted, but the allusion to what is going on is still there, just not "in your face" as the first release. That is the only reason he is doing this. Not to cheapen it in any way. And as far as money goes,, this man used his own money to make this film, because he wanted to get the message of the Gospel out! I hope God continues to bless him for that.
