OK, before I shell out the cash for The Passion coming out Aug 31, is there a super-deluxo Director's Collectors Gift Set coming out a few months later (Like Christmas or Easter?). I've been stung several times by this type of marketing. Any insider information out there?

I was able to get a pirated copy (shhhh, don't tell!) of The Passion in China for about $1.00

I was wondering the same thing, however, I was able to get a pirated copy (shhhh, don't tell!) of The Passion in China for about $1.00, so I do have that one to hold me over until we know whether or not there will be a special edition.

Its a shame that the people who worked so hard on making that movie(not just the actors and director but just some the "average joes who are part of the film crew) will not earn the hard earned money they so much deserve because of people making and buying pirated copies of DVD's. I'm very happy that I bought my copy from a store.

As far as the OP's question: I think that there is supposed to be a "delux" edition with all the extra goodies coming out. I'm just not sure when.
