I find it useful to use "Easter" to refer to the Western-calendar celebration, and "Pascha" to refer to the Orthodox celebration ... esp when talking with my non-Orthodox Christian relatives.![]()

Blimey, I forgot about this trick. For our kids, we use the Western date as Easter Bunny day to play the pagan hunt-for-eggs ritual. Of course, that's a problem when there is five weeks between Easter and Pascha, but most years it's a convenient way to dis-connect that rabbit thing from the Feast. My Baptist brother is a bit envious of us on that one.![]()
