  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Should their be harsher punishments for parole violaters?
What are your views on parole violaterS? What do you consider a violation?

Parole violaters and repeat offenders are both in the some boat with me; if they can't figure out that commiting the same crime twice wrong, maybe they'll figure out in another 10-20 years.

I am a corrections officer who works in a Parole /probation holding facility that houses offenders who have violated their parole,, I find it odd that Over 4 years at this facility i see the same faces, and each time they tell me " I am not coming back again ever!" " ive changed" or "Ooh well"....I also find it depressing that almost every offender blames their incarciration on someone else!! there is a complete lack of Accountability for ones actions! I honestly feel that the root cause to all of this is soceity failing to hold people responsible, In the past if you were a killer or rapits or pedophile who were pretty much banished from soceity as ever harsh as it may be it produced results and was a deterent more than a prison cell will ever be. As far as rehabilitation goes, "you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink".. people need to be ready to change.. if your force a person into rehab they will resist it but if you offer on demand rehab people need to take the first step on their own to getting help...
I will ask all of you to be pray and ask for the belessing of god for all those in prison andthat they maychaneg their ways and find god as well as praying for all of us correctional staff who have to work in this depressive oppresive enviroment everyday
may god bless you!!
