Do you think that the intelligence services monitor these forums?

I say this as when ever I log in it says the number of Members / Mods online but there are always a few guests present as well. Who are these guests?

Or is it just paranoia on my part.

IF you think you are being monitored just try this simple experiment. Include the words bomb, explosion, attack, destruction, infidels, evil westerners, and the like in all your posts, emails, or other internet activity. If you are not visited by gentlemen in suits within six months you are not being monitored.

Google is probably the biggest legtimate concern of paranoia. They only exist to sell your information. Do you think they give a toss who they sell it to.

Forums often times have a lot of 'long time listeners' that never 'call in'.

Do they monitor these forums? Hard to say. But monitoring anything won't be done by an individual, it would be done by a computer program that scans for particular words, creates a report and will likely then be assessed and disregarded or elevated for physical investigation, as in, eyes-on to see what's going on.

I doubt there are many places that aren't monitored inadvertently.
Last I heard they were on Google backbones, so anything that's cached or anything else through Google, they have access to for monitoring keywords.

Site like Google will also "crawl" a web-site to find information from it- it helps to improve their search results. That can make up a lot of the "guests" at this site.

Right now CF has: 658 Users Online (114 members and 544 guests). Those guests can also be people who are not logged in and who are just reading the site, but I think it is mostly web crawlers.

As long as you're not doing something illegal, I wouldn't worry about it.

NSA probably monitors all big sites, and CF is ranked pretty high which probably draws attention.

No you're not being paranoid. People call me paranoid, or make cruel jokes calling me a tin foil hat wearer lol, whatever... I just know how the government is and I choose to not trust them.

It has been confirmed by many sources that the internet is in fact being monitored.

It seems the goal of the elite is to become all-knowing gods. But if they thought about it they would see that there is really no need for more than one god.
