Yep, long before scientists concocted the idea, the bible mentions parallel universes. One we call heaven, the other we call hell.

I don't like Hugh Everett's many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics. I subscribe to a different interpretation. Many-worlds has an infinite amount of universes, each one an assumption, so it defies Occam's razor and is therefore not a good choice.

Science says there are an infinite number of universes. Not just two.

Science says a lot of things.
Some scientists ascribe to the idea of many universes, but if you suggest to them there's a heaven and a hell, they scoff at the idea. The descriptions provided in the bible sound very much like what Hawking and others describe as alternate universes. It doesn't seem logical to believe in multiple universes, but then say there can't be a heaven or hell.

Michio Kaku even claims there are invisible time travelers that travel between the universes, but if you suggest to him these invisible time travelers are what the bible describes as angels and daemons, he won't accept it, simply because he has a bias against the bible, even though the bible describes many scientific principles thousands of years before there was any such thing as science.

If there's a god, and god created this universe, then obviously god exists outside this universe, and exists in an alternate plane of existence, another universe.

Yep that is it. We are suppose to believe that there are an infinite number of universes with everything except for a heaven and a hell. Just everything in between heaven and hell. Does not matter that there is plenty of heaven and hell right here on earth. Science wants us to believe that consciousness is a product of the brain and when you pull the plug on the brain then consciousness is lost to never return again. This is why they have so much of a problem understanding the theory of evolution because they do not understand that there is a cosmic or a universal consciousness.

Wouldn't heaven and hell be different states of existence?
Heaven and hell would exist if you could separate good and evil. The alternate theory is that good can not exist without evil and evil can not exist without good.

If there's a god, and god created this universe, then obviously god exists outside this universe, and exists in an alternate plane of existence, another universe.
The theory is that God unites all the various universes into one. He is the connection between the universes.

From what I gather, you doubt there is a separate heaven and hell? I would ask you to define "connection."

When you say god is the connection, are you saying that in terms of connection the way a bridge connects Brooklyn and Manhattan? Are suggesting a connection like how New York is connected to Connecticut? Perhaps it's more like the way flying non stop connects you to two different cities? Is it a physical or spiritual.

Where does this theory that god unites the various universes into one come from? And if that's the case, then there aren't various universes.

I wouldn't say that without one the other couldn't exist, but if one exists the other naturally would. The biblical theory is that evil can and will be isolated permanently from good, completely separated. so while they would both exist they would not be connected. If good and evil cannot be separated, then there is no hope. The idea is that good and evil are separated into two different planes, universes perhaps. One of these we call hell, the other we call Heaven. Some suggest there are separate heavens and hells. Purgatory is suggestion that there's a place that isn't heaven or hell, but yet another plane, or universe.

One thing to consider is this. Our vision or impression of a universe may not accurately reflect what other universe are. Our universe is planets and stars and dark matter, a different universe may have none of these things. What I'm saying is, I use the term universe in a more broad sense than what others might use.

Ooh, ooh, the Chili Peppers had a song about this.
I'll see if I can track it down.

The reality of God goes something like this:

Eternal positive (God - no beginning or end)

Finite negative (apart from God - began when created beings didn't choose God)

We currently exists in the finite negative reality which we call the universe. This reality that we perceive will come to an end and after that we'll either exist in the eternal positive (with God) or the finite never ending negative (apart from God).

How has God made it possible for us to bridge from the finite negative back into the eternal positive, where we're meant to be? The answer is Jesus.

God is making it really easy to understand Him and our finite existence, but He still won't force us to believe something that makes perfect sense because that should already come naturally to us.

People like things to make sense, except when it conflicts with their worldview or their previously held belief that has been falsely imposed on them without them realizing it.

How long will people deny that which makes perfect sense?

Not sure how the lyrics reflect my point in any way, but thanks for responding.

Plus I'm more of a King Crimson kinda guy anyway.

No no it does not >_> the only thing the bible talks about is ethereal planes that no one really knows if they exist or not because no one has been to said heaven or hell. >_> and even if said place existed it would break the laws of energy conservation if said human "soul" goes on from this "plane" to the next.

You should label yourself as a Daoist, not a Christian.
And I will probably not treat you as a Christian from now.
