  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My parakeet died yesterday morning. When my mom uncovered his cage yesterday, he was hanging at the top of the cage, where he doesn't usually sleep. She stuck her hand in there and pet him. He has only let us pet him once, when he was brand new to our home. Anyways, he wasn't breathing good, so we took turns holding him all morning. He was too weak to even stand up, without toppling over head first. My dad was holding him, and he tried to start flying. He took a couple more wheezes and died. My dad looked like he was going to cry. He has only had one other pet die in his hands. So, we buried him in a cookie box with his favorite toys and the washcloth that he was wrapped in.

Awww... I know how that feels. A few years ago my girl Jocelyn died. I took her out of the cage when I noticed something was wrong / her, then she couldn't even stand and she dried to fly and landed on the floor. s soon as i picked her up she nuzzled into my hand and stopped brathing. it was the worst feeling in the world.
