Parables and Miracles

So, yeah. I've got a bible study class going on, and we're to discuss the various parables and miracles that occured in the new testament.

The thing is, I've never learned to navigate a bible (The numbers and colons make squat sense to me. ), nor would I consider alot of things miracles, being the cynic I am.

So I come to you good folks requesting a list of Miracles and Parables in the New testament, preferably where to find it.

I guess it wouldnt hurt being taught how to read the book too? >.>

While I would normally take you up on that offer, the difference between the normal organization system of books today and how the bible orders it's topics leaves me baffled.
