Alrighty then, I have to write an aurgumentative paper for my ethics class. I have never written one before and am hoping that I do ok. There are 3 options for the paper, all given at different times (and due at different times). I only have options 1 and 2 right now. If I want to write on option one then I need to write the paper tonight because it is due tomorrow. I guess I will start and see how it goes...and if not...then do one of the other two...I just don't want to keep putting it off....

sounds like fun. for high school AP english our teacher would give us half a scene from a play, a poem, or two nonrelated books, and tell us to give him 8 pages back. either comparitive analysis, explication, or some other crazy thing. the funny thing, he never did give us all the info we needed for the paper until the day or two before it was due. needless to say, most of us wrote out papers in one night.

Yeah, I really wish that teachers would give all the info up front, right when classes started. That way we could work at our own pace and know what there was to be expected! I had one teacher once who didn't set any deadlines except that everything had to be due on the last day of class. That was kind of tough because then you had to make sure to set your own deadlines!

I'm not sure if anyone did or didn't get things done in time. I'm sure there were a lot of people trying to do a lot of things the night before the last class day though!!!!

I had an idiot prof last quarter that was so unprepared for our projects that he asked US what we thought should be in the presentation/paper. And that was the day before they were due.

Good luck! I have like ten more papers with this one prof who shreds papers! I got an 80 on my first and a 75 on the second!

i've got a paper due this friday. we've been told practially nothing about it, expect that it's due friday. we only have half an idea about what the topic is even supposed to be. nobody knows what to do or where to start. so far this year, i haven't gotten above and 85 on any paper in that class. i wonder why.....

I had AP English once....made me think I liked it...now in college...I don't like English...which is sad because it is my minor

I think it depends on a person's writing and orginizational style. I usually get 95-100 on last-minute papers, but sometimes only get about two hours of sleep because of it. If their writing method doesn't require much editing or revision, it can work out rather decently.
