I've heard a truckload about Pantera, and a bit of their music and it sounds sweeeeeet.
Catch is, I hear they are satanic. This is from a friend, who tends to blanket bands as satanic but with an album titled 'Cowboys from Hell', who knows?!?!

So are they satanic?

from hell is just a term for explaining how 'extreme' they probably felt they were, and how the public actually recieved metal at the time.

like the saying, 'like a bat out of hell!', it isn't saying, 'like a satanic bat!', from hell, just emphasizes the craziness
