  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi, I may explain in another post why I'm in a perpetual state of panic (not sure though), so bad such that I'm having a never-ending headache and my emotions are showing in my face in public, even though I'm otherwise good at hiding it. It didn't help that I saw this gloom-and-doom post on Reddit about how no one is really going to help you and that there's no point in living, etc.

Sometimes the fear of death is what is causing the panic. I had chronic pain for some months with waves of panic. One step in breaking it was just accepting that death has no victory over you.
Romans 14:8 "If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord." I am not suggesting that one not continue to fight the good fight and give up. But understanding that the worse case scenario, death is not so horrible, is not to be feared, will break its power over the anxiety. In nearly all cases the lies of the devil are magnified by fears and he uses that against us. I really think you can overcome this stage and be powerful to God in the process. Don't be afraid to get help either. In my case some medical diagnostics were quite helpful in relieving my fears, especially as they showed nothing physically was wrong. May God bless your journey.

It's not exactly my fear of death (ok, I do fear that)but the fear of things in my life that would inevitably cause death if I can't fix them (money stuff).

Don’t worry about showing emotions. Don’t be fearful. Isa 41:10, Isa 26:3-10. My panic comes for no reason. I get over loaded easily, but I face it and don’t let it have its way. So I fight it, because it’s not Gods way of love , peace, contentment, joy. It shortens its stay. I take it captive 2Cor 10:3-5. The Bible is the best way to fight it because you know your right, ya know. Jesus Loves You. Correct yourself to the truth.

i forgive you do not be afraid the Lord has your back.
