palm Problems

I just got a palm tungsten E, and it won't hotsync with the computer anymore. It told me to check my setup, so I went to the online hotsync help, and it told me that my cable was probably defective. I installed a game a few days ago, and I was wondering if that was interfering with hotsyncing, since one of the questions the online support asked was if I had installed new software. Thanks for the help.

Most of the time software wouldn't interfere. One thing to do is reinstall Palm Desktop.

That's what I was considering. It wouldn't take as long this time since I already have all my package software downloaded onto my palm; I'd just have to reinstall it on the computer, I suppose. I can't wait to get it up and running again. I'm going to do a lot of stuff(and have a lot of fun) with this thing. Thanks seebs.

well...if worse comes to worse you could always do a full reset on your Tungsten, but be reminded a hard reset kills all your info.

My problem has solved itself. The hotsync icon was missing from the system tray for a day or two, but now it's back, and my hotsync is functioning again. Thanks for your help anyway.

You don't have to be rich do you? I'm am nowere close to rich. Because I just bought a $1200 laptop. But I am broke now. But you probly are richer than you think. Your blessed, I know you are...well, heres some blessings.

For a (relatively) inexpensive PDA, you really should consider the Dell Axim. It runs PocketPC (windows), and can be had for a reasonable price (around $200 for the basic model!).

I don't have any PDA Bible software yet. I wish I could find a package that included Catholic versions.
