Do this, go to a paintball store and buy one there. A paintball store carries markers that are ALOT cheaper anywhere else, ie, sporting goods store, walmart, ect. Plus they can help you out what you're specificly looking for. Oh yeah, if your going for a C02, get a high volume tank like a 20 oz tank, good for 1000+ shots depending on the air effiencey of the marker you buy.
Mask, when your starting out, I'd say hands down go for the Proto Switch EL, the reason I say this is because of the cost, it's very cheap,(probably around $35 US dollars) but the quality is top notch, and it boasts a 260 field degree of vision, which most masks do not offer, it's thermal lense too so you won't have to worry about fogging.
For paint, always buy 2000 round cases, in ratio they are alot more cheaper than 100, 500, 1000, canisters/bags. Try the cheapest you can buy paint first. Good enough for woodsball. But if your going out to a paintball field they might have some restictions using BYOP (bring your own paint), some fields only require that you buy their field paint, of course to make money it's going to be more expensive.
