It's making me nervous and I need prayers for a calm mind. Pray that the doctors potentially do something about it.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Father, may this one read Philippians 4:6-8 and allow Your Spirit to give them peace. I pray that You, the doctors, or both, along with the body, mind, and care of this one that has it, tend to this enlarged tonsil and bring it back to the right size. Thank You for Your involvement for the health and peace of this dear one. Amen.

I had that a few years ago. It was a cyst and nothing serious.

I'm not worried about it much. It doesn't hurt and Mom's going to call the doctors in a couple days. (Mon-Fri only.)

There's a tiny chance that it's cancer... but the associated symptoms of neck/arm/leg/bone pain and armpit/neck lumps, one each, constant tiredness, occasionally painful swallowing, indigestion, etc. makes it a little more... grave.
