Pain Medication

The past few days I've been in pain from kidney stones. The doctor gave me vicoden for the pain and I've had problems with opiate addiction in the past. I gave the bottle to my mom for safe keeping and she only gives me the amount that I should take at a time. I've been fairly good at not taking it all the times I could be too. It's still scary though and would like to ask for the prayers of anyone who would be willing to pray for me.

In regards to your situation i can fully relate! I also fought addiction for years and i also get kidney stones every 3 years and they are horrible. I will definitely pray for you! Stay strong and you are doing the right thing by not being in charge of your medication.



I just joined this site and i am looking for guidance if you could give some. I fought addiction for years with almost all drugs, i have now started a christian recovery center in Washington state and i want to talk to people and try to help them for free and if they are interested i would tell them about my recovery center as well. Is there a better forum or way to do this?

Thanks for the prayers everyone. I made it through it and got rid of left over vicodens so I wasn't tempted to take them. I still have two kidney stones left though and I'm not particulrarly eager to have them start hurting once again. It could be a long time before they bother me though.
