We're you born in 1800? I thought every human being within 100 miles of a DVD player would have seen Star Wars...Padawan is a student of the Jedi religion, someone who's inexpreienced in the ways of The Force. Not so much an insult as...you were just inexperienced.

Nope, not inexperienced, sadly. It's just been years since I stood in line outside that Dallas theatre to see the original StarWars, and the lingo from the movie is not part of my everyday verbage.

I have a sneaking suspicion that if I were to call you hon or young'n as I have wont to do in some of these posts, you would not respond to that very well. I certainly hope that IRL you don't speak to people almost old enough to have birthed your mother in the way you're speaking to me in these posts. A little more respectful tone would be nice.

Not all Christians. I'm assuming Low Anglicans dont seeing as my friend Maddy believes the trinity is three separate parts. My mother doesn't believe in transubstantiation, like half of the christian tree. is she going to hell by your rules?

I did not bring up the doctrine of the trinity or transubstantiation - you did. Doctrine is not what gets a person to Heaven, and I did not claim that it was.

And you think I hear Satan when I pray? 'I find your lack of faith disturbing...'...Star Wars quote, nevermind. Most christians say they can hear God all day. Anytime i think about them, i can hear my Gods.

If indeed you are hearing something in the spiritual realm, I believe it is the deceiving voice of the enemy of your soul.

I did not bring up "metal" either. I do not think "metal" is bad in and of itself - there is some very good Christian metal - eg: DayOfFire. I do believe that it is the spiritual influences on the particular "metal" that you listen to that pulls you into it; music without spiritual content does not have that kind of attracting power.

I find your lack of research disturbing, Padawan. Most people who dare call Gods evil tend to make sure they know what they're talking about.

I quite agree. There is only one God, and He is not evil.

Define spirits please. Usualy i refer to spirits as strong alcohol. do you just mean anything that claims to be a God?

These are spirits:
There is one God - I believe Him to be triune. Scripture says that God is spirit. Humans are embodied spirits, and then there are angels (which serve God and never were humans) and fallen angels or demons (some believe them to be two classes of evil spirits). That is all. There are no alternate "gods" - there are only demonic princes who lie to people and say that they are gods. Odin is a spirit who is a demonic prince. He will be cast into Hell with Satan (the chief of the fallen angels) at the End.

I brought up metal anyway...i know you didn't Tal. I was using it as a writing tool of humour.

Christian metal...I've yet to hear a good band or a good song. They tend to repeat eachother.
