Colabomb said:Actually, my question is more concerning the lyrics of those two songs.
It seems to me that they are claiming some sort of Prophetic Ministry.
Could you guys give me your interpretations?
I have no problem with the reference to the Sacrifice.Behe's Boy said:I don't see the connection on "Rediculous" - I take it as a guy who has to listened to everyone's garbadge- namely people's criticisms - and the guy is just getting fed up with it.
On "Messenjah" the lyrics are fully supported by scripture - i.e. "...word of life came alive in the scripture..." They are also proclaiming their devotion and love for Christ's sacrifice and that they would literally "die" for the faith if necessary to prove it. I don't have a problem with that at all... It's quite inspirational imo...

Skillfully tested, rhythmically possessed with rhymes
And when it was time, Jah gave me the mic after he blessed it
He said share the loving, prepare them for the Second Coming
-P.O.D. Ridiculous
It seems that they are claiming a prophetic ministry.I message, written in rhyme, prophetic
Teachers amongst the skeptics and guiding the misdirected
Infected with their lies and their alibis
With their third eye blind, out of line, they try to prophesy
I and I unfold the mysteries told
From the futuristic realms to the days of old
Make straight through the path of the one voice calling
Truth shines, back again two times in the Second Coming
P.O.D. Messenjah
Tattoos are not the issue for me. It is the songs I am concerned about.jesusphreak43 said:Hey guys. I think its wrong to judge as to if they are Christians are not. Also, about the tattoos, as a friend of mine put it: Our bodies are temples for the Lord and people decorate temples...so if the tattoos are God pleasing and magnifying..whats the problem?
Awesome, but thats not what I am saying. TRUST me There aren't many things I judge as OK. But we aren't the ones who judge people's sins. People are saying They aren't Chritians. That is what i was refering to.Colabomb said:Tattoos are not the issue for me. It is the songs I am concerned about.
We are to judge some things. We are not to be judgemental, but we are to judge things.
If they are false prophets, we have the resposiblity to find out.
We cannot blindly walk through this world and say "everthing's okay".
