Well, here I am counting the days. I was due on the 8th, so I'm 4 days over now. Actually, this is pretty normal for me. My other 4 were 10, 4, 13, and 11 days over. I'm kinda thinking this one will come on the 18th.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm almost positive I don't care what you think
i was 2 weeks late exiting my mother...but then again i think that the doctors were just 2 weeks off with her due date

Still here. And still waiting. Actually, I'm kinda hoping the baby will hold off for a few days because my 2 yr. old just came down with a cold and has been getting me up at night.

I hope that when I have a baby, I'm not overdue. If I end up more than seven days overdue, I'm likely to ask for some medication or something to induce labor. I'd be too anxious to wait longer than seven days.

I mean, unless you know the EXACT day you concived, you don't really KNOW when you are due, the ultrasound measurements could be off by as much as 2 weeks in either direction, and women have been known to continue to have their periods (or maybe have missed a period because of stress) before the baby was concived, making the due date change by as much as a month! (For example, my friends due date was the 8th of september, and was later changed to the 24th of september because of baby measurements and uncertainty about the MLP)
If I had to chose between a fully ready to come out baby, and my own anxiousness, I think I would chose the babies timing. But on the other hand, if my baby was getting "overcooked" and the fluids in my womb were lacking, I would chose my timing instead.

Well, here I am 11 days over and still waiting. I have been having some crampy type contractions the last few days though, so I doubt it will be more than another day or two.
Everything is still going fine, though, so I'm not worried. I really feel good, just getting a little tired of keeping everything ready. I want my house to be all clean when the time comes, so I've been driving myself and everyone else nuts trying to keep everything tidy.

Are you certain of the conception date? My midwifes set my due date based on funky stuff (best they had) so I will be able to tell myself that I am not really late, the date is just wrong .

Yeah, I'm pretty sure of the conception date, so, I really am over. All of mine were late though, and none showed signs of being "overdue" so, I guess mine just take longer to get finished.
