As of probably 3 years ago, I've had a constant habit of overthinking or over analyzing situations before I'm about to ask someone something important. For example, I have a crush on one of my friend's younger sister. I haven't found the courage to actually go and tell her how I feel because I overthink on how she may respond to what I have to say given that she's in college, and it sort of prevents me for actually doing it because I'm afraid to face reality on what she may say, and even when I do get an answer(which I haven't asked yet) I tend to also overthink and try to read the situation and what that could mean for me.
Has anyone else faced the same issues, or deals with similar things? If so, is there anything helpful to stop myself from doing this?
