The Cherry Coke ad set in the '50s wherein the car hop introduces a guy to the "new" beverage ("outrageous", he exclaims, and decides to "take the idea into the '80s", then the year 2000).

"Uh-oh, Spaghetti-O's!"

Smokey Bear's "Only you can prevent forest fires".

"Give A Hoot, Don't Pollute"

McGruff the Crime Dog and the "Don't Use Drugs" campaign.

"Barney! My Pebbles!"

And who can forget "Messy Marvin"?!

Let's share our favorite ads and jingles from the past right HERE!

If I try and recall one that made us laugh it would be the Morris commercials. That cat. I loved the voice.
I also think back to the commercial with the old woman for Burger King. Where's the Beef. Something like that.

My favorite commercial from when I was a kid was the Dunkin' Donuts man who would go into the grocery stores dressed as a woman to see if their doughnuts were fresh. But he would cover his mustache with his white gloved finger. I love those. He was always in an ugly old lady's flowered dress.
