Two words ...easily spoken without reflecting... that move me deeply - and I cannot fathom the depths of them ....
the source, the origin, of the being of everyone... how could we understand this mind-blowing idea without asking Him directly and yet this was not even possible until Jesus Christ died [for all but a few friends of God ,such as Enoch]
how did Jesus show us our Father... through BEING the epitome of love in a world that largely rejected Him [but for that all-important remnant whose hearts were opened... by what?... as Jesus said , it was again our Father who revealed Himself to them so that these few KNEW the Son through the holy spirit of God...
Our Father... who was close to man until OUR disobedience separated us FROM Him.... do we think that our father withdrew from us to be remote [in heaven?] or that we separted ourselves into unacceptability in His site and that the Kingdom of God is actually close at hand [as Jesus told us it is] if we but reach out...
Our sin... just unlovingness!...a rebellion against the love in our own hearts.
What!... like teenagers rebelling against the authority of their parents?
It would seem maybe so, yet we know that the love of even human parenthood survives rebellion [for we KNOW rebellion in ourselves... how does OUR father know rebellion? [surely through His prodigal, Satan, who was by the throne of God as Lucifer until sin was found in him.... could this be God's way of understanding man's rebellion that He cannot experience in Himself as THE essence of love, the very standard, the BEING of love?]
Can we think that it is an accident that the two covering cherubim at God's throne represent good [the Word/Jesus/Christ on the right hand of God] and the evil [Lucifer/Satan/the anti-Christ on the left(sinsiter) side]?
