If it's rock or electronic music, I'll listen to any language you put it in. I've got Japanese music, German music, Swedish music (okay, just a Swedish version of 'Waterloo'), several classical or modern pieces with Latin choruses, Spanish rock, French rap, Russian dance, etc., etc. Basically the 'You listen to foreign music? That's weird' comes from ethnocentrism (thinking your country/language/area is better or the most important) more than anything else. Normally people aren't exposed to foreign music because it's simply not popular here (even though we did have that Latin music craze a few years ago).

Mainly, I just have fun with the fact that I like so many different types of music and am eager to hear something in a foreign language. I've probably scared people more often than not with my tastes. Don't really worry about what others think and just listen to it if you like it. I mean, it's like pizza: if you like mushroom pizza but one of your friends doesn't, is that gonna stop you from enjoying a piece of mushroom pizza when they're not around, or even if they are? The same should go for music.

Deutsche. Rammstein, Wizo (crazy anarchists, but good sound)
And some Chinese songs are bearable (the 80s/early 90s post-Tiananmen music was decent). I don't have too many non-English songs. Primarily because I like lyrics, and since Chinese music falls on its face when it comes to rock (there is no rock as we know it in China/Taiwan, as it is all pop-rock).

Silver Ash is the only decent Chinese Rock band.

Korea has some good rock bands, like PiA, Jack in Seoul, Diablo, ARES, and Cherry Filter. The Peter Pan Complex is a good Korean band, they sound like Radiohead. :)

I like some japanese music: OLIVIA, Ayumi Hamasaki, Dir en Grey, The Brilliant Green, Go Go 7188, Shina Ringo, Koda Kumi, Hikaru Utada, Chihiro Onitsuka (one of the few Christian J-pop singers), Schwarz Stein, Gackt, Malice Mizer, D'espairs Ray, Pierrot, Noir Fleurir, Mini Moni, Morning Musume, Moi Dix Mois, Supercar, Something ELse, Young Punch, the Pillows, and nil.

I have one Rammstein song, if that counts as german. It was in german, so...yeah.

Some songs on my Noir OST (anime soundtrack) are in french. And a rap CD by IAM (Revoir un Printemps album) is in French, except for the parts sung by method man, red man, and beyonce.

Oh yeah, I have two songs I just dl'ed the other day

one by Kuroyume*(rock) and one by Atsushi Sakurai (it's like..Japanese Jazz)

And I got a video by a band called D[di:], they're in my sig, well..everyone but the girl. She has horns, so all these Christians are all like, "[bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] it's a devil not an acceptable japanese fashion statement with no meaning because japanese aren't even like that"

Norwegian music is always good...
deLillos, Postgirobygget, CC Cowboys and so on...

Guess no one heard of them before :p
I've barely heard of any of the bands here. I'm just glad that I'm not alone in the world. Now that I think about it, I do like one spanish rap song.

no really, i listen to german music. we got a few fantastic bands, i.e. nena, xavior naidoo, or herbert grönemeyer.

latin music: ricky martin. don´t laugh - i still love his song to the worldcup 1998!

something to rammstein - you don´t understand what they are singing. i do, and i say - don´t hear theire music. they´re just evil. normally i don´t say about bands that they are evil, or you shouldn´t listen to them. but when it comes to rammstein, i have to warn you. sorry ...

I don't like Rammstein that much(actually, I don't). But I think the names of their songs are 'funny'. Du hast(means;you have), Ich will(means; I want). It's just that simple. =P
Well, it's good to see that someone isn't saying that 'Du Hast' is 'You Hate'. I've heard that so many times it's not funny.

I've always taken Rammstein's lyrics to be metaphoric, considering just how bizarre some of them are. Of course, I'm not exactly listening to 'Weißes Fleisch' (because I did find that one offensive). Most of the material I've heard from them is off of Sehnsucht and Mutter, along with some unreleased songs that were from various singles or were pre-Herzeleid demos (neither of which are very hard to find). I like Industrial, and I went through somewhat of a Rammstein phase, but now they're probably the least listened-to Industrial band on my playlist. Not to mention that at the moment I don't have any of their songs on my computer.

Lots and lots of Latin music - mostly Spanish but some Portuguese too.

Soukous (dance music from the Congo) - It's in Lingala, but if you get past that and listen to the beat and melody lines, it's very infectious dance music.

Reggae sometimes - I know Jamaicans speak English, but Jamaican patois can be another language all its own for the uninitiated ear.
