CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's been a while since I left "Left Behind" behind. (pun intended: can you tell I haven't had my full allotment of coffee this AM?) I don't remember my EXACT username, but all of my computer aliases are some form of "VOW."

Y'see, it all started back in the 'Nineties, when I first joined AOL. My screen name was (and still is, LOL) "VOWeaver." As I visited different places in the AOL community, folks got to calling me "VOW." It just kinda stuck.

VOW, I believe the moniker for the Sinister Gluteus Maximus board was "The Board Which Shall Not Be Mentioned".
I haven't been able to access that board for years; I get error messages every time I try.
Personally, I think it's a sign from God.
As for Rapture Ready, it is a sewer of pathological anti-Catholic hatred which borders on hysteria. The only time I ever go there is if I happen to be severely constipated.
