Don't take this oppurtunity to Muslim-bash. We would be bad Christians if we did so. Rather, let us pray for our enemies and love them. We must be sensible, reasonable and Christ-like.

their treatment of women bothered people before. I recal watching a Seventh Heaven episode about it, anyone else remember that? But I do agree that it didn't bother enough people. That doesn't mean we're using it as an excuse though, it just means that people have finally come to their senses.

The treatment of peopel in Afghanistan didn´t bother anybody for a very long time.
Suddenly after the WTC attack it began to bother...
I suppose, if not for the WTC attack, it wouldn´t have bothered anybody for the next years. Even on top of that, the destruction of world heritage didn´t bother.
Now suddenly after WTC those same peole, who didn´t bother the fighters for freedom and democracy just became the most evil people...
