Orthodoxy in Spain?

I know it has to exist. My husband's company that he works for is opening an office in Valencia, Spain and my husband was the first to be asked if he wanted to move to Spain and of course, he said yes (and being that it's a coastal city, I said yes as well). As much as I love European history (and this is an extremely old city) there is no Orthodox Church. I wasn't even able to find an Orthodox Church in Spain online and I'm sure there are Churches there. Anyways, that's all, thought I'd share

I don't know anything about Orthodoxy in Spain though! Didn't Josh live there for awhile? Or am I thinking of someone else? There's someone on this board who lived in Spain as a student. Hopefully he'll be along soon!!

On the OrthodoxWiki page it looks like they have links to Romanian and Serbian websites who have parishes in Spain. There's a link for the Moscow Patriarchate too, but it didn't work when I clicked it.

Corali, you'll just have to come visit us if we do get to go. and if there's churches in Madrid, at least we have a chance of getting to church, or I'll just have to go to France or Germany LOL.
Anyways, I'm doing a lot better, thanks for asking and praying for me. I think everything was caused by the medication I was put on and when I realized that, I got off of it and things are going semi back-to-normal.

There is a Greek Orthodox Church of St George and Benedict the Deacon and Martyr, where the Divine Liturgy is served once every two months. You can get more info from the president of the Greek community, Vassilios Katselis ( Cell: 607-466605)

The closest thing I can find is about 1 1/2 hour south in Altea, Iglesia ortodoxa rusa del Arcángel San Miguel.
