Orthodox men named Mary

Here in (Montréal) Québec, it is not uncommon to find people with names of mixed gender.

For example a man named Pierre-Marie, or a woman named Marie-Pierre. It is somewhat unusual in other provinces, to be sure, but the same tradition exists among Catholics in Ireland, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal, among other nations. The famous atheist Voltaire, for example, was named François-Marie.

I am unable to find an example of a Greek man with Mary (Maria) somewhere in his name. The closest I've come is an Albanian man named George-Marie.

I wonder if anyone knows of a Greek Orthodox example of this phenomenon of men named Mary.

Does anyone know of any tradition of this kind among the Eastern Orthodox Churches in general, past or present?

Thanks

I've never heard of any men named Mary, however, I have heard of women being named after male saints (though in Greek practice they are taking a male relative's name and not a feminized version).

You would do best to ask on the Orthodox forum. There are people from other parts of the world that are cradle Orthodox who just may be able to answer your question.
