The St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is one of the most beautiful I have seen. I'd have to say St. Basil's is the most exotic. I omit the Hagia Sofia for obvious reasons. Anybody know any other famous and spectacularly aesthetic Churches?

I saw Uspenski when I was in Helsinki and it is a beautiful building. You could probably also include St. Isaac's in St. Petersburg. It is an incredible building as well. When I was there (when it was still Leningrad) it had been turned into a museum celebrating atheism.

In this country, there's two I like especially. St Simeon Mirotocivi and Holy Trinity Cathedral. St. Simeon's is modeled on a church in Serbia whose name escapes me. Holy Trinity was designed by Louis Sullivan and is just beautiful inside and out.
