In ORIGIN OF CHRISTIANITY and JUDAISM, Manfred Davidmann proves what Jesus really taught: The social laws of the Torah have to be followed. These social laws guarantee equality, social justice and security, and a good life for all members of the community. These laws protect people from exploitation, oppression and enslavement through need. Early Christians, being mostly Jews, followed these laws.

Manfred Davidmann then proves how these essential social laws of the Torah were bypassed and ceased to be observed, in Judaism and in Christianity at the same time.

He describes and proves how Paul changed what Jesus had taught, how Paul's ideology serves the establishment instead of the people, and how this became Christianity's official doctrine. On the other hand Manfred Davidmann shows that the Talmud (especially the Mishnah) tells how Hillel changed Judaism in the same way, to what it is today.

The Dead Sea Scrolls, within the context of the findings reported here, become much more meaningful. In turn, the knowledge gained from them is part of the pattern of events recorded here for the first time.
What you find here is scientific analysis of facts established by the methods of biblical archaeology.

Outstanding are the sections on Paul and the Gospels: Manfred Davidmann shows that Paul's ideology was first opposed and that successive gospel writers then changed the record in Paul's favour, and how they did it.

CONTRASTNG THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS AGAINST THE TEACHINGS OF PAUL...WHY DOES PAUL DISAGREE WITH JESUS' MESSAGE AND GOSPEL?

As we conclude the study of apostolic theology, the words of Rabbi Solomon Schechter come to mind: "One thing is quite clear even to every student, and this is that a curious alternative is always haunting our exegesis of the Epistles. Either the theology of the Rabbis must be wrong, its conception of God debasing, its leading motives materialistic and coarse, its teachings lacking in enthusiasm and spirituality, or the Apostle to the Gentiles is quite unintelligible."

I don't see a contradiction between Paul and Jesus in terms of how we get saved. Jesus says we are saved by faith in Him... no man comes to the Father except through me. But I do think we can easily forget about the importance of producing fruit, which has to be a sign that the salvation was real.

Was there a link to the evidence (primary text), this is coming from?

Personally, I have long noticed an appprent contradiction between Jesus and Paul re: how one gets saved. Jesus emphasizes works and Paul emphasizes faith. Everyone here will say that there is no contradiction, but there is a definite difference in emphasis.

Yes, IMO there absolutely is. The only way to avoid this contradiction, IMO, is to ignore the three Synoptic gospels and pretend that John is the only one when - when, in fact, John's Jesus is entirely different from the Jesus of the Synoptics, John's christology is entirely different from that of the Synoptics, and John's gospel is riddled with mysterious sayings that scholars are in pretty solid agreement Jesus never said. Although Paul's letters generally predate the gospels, you have to wonder how he arrived at his christology and whether Jesus himself would have been completely bewildered by it.

Let me guess. He concentrated mostly on the Gospel of Matthew for what Jesus "originally" taught.
If that's the case, that's a bad place to begin for such an argument. Matthew's gospel was for a Jewish audience. Of course there's going to be things that may not appear to coincide with what Paul wrote.

Something to bear in mind:

The same writer who wrote the Acts, wherein St. Paul is the biggest player in the narratives is the same writer who wrote Luke.

Good point!

I would add this is just more anti-Paul drivel; and if we can't believe the New Testament parts written by Paul, then we could very well conclude none of the New Testament can be believed.

The OP's guest author presumes that the Apostle Paul IS the same person as Simon Magnus in the Clementine Recognition literature. Is there anyone able to explain in detail just why the OP's "guest author" conclusively determines that Simon Magnus who debates Peter in the Clementine Recognitions is equated with the New Testament apostle PAUL?
