Ordering on-line from leaflets (or others)

I just wanted to warn you all to be careful if ordering from leafletsonline.com.  My brother asked me to place an order for him, and I got to the credit card info part.  Well...they don't have a secure link.  I called the order in on the phone.

The reason I'm telling you all this is I had a problem with my bank card, which I used as a credit card, some months back.  Someone had hacked into the information.  Luckily I didn't lose any money, but had to change my card.  As far as I recall, Leaflets is the only place that didn't have a secure link.  I have been checking, so I was lucky to be aware of it.

Of course, you all may be more observant than I, but I wouldn't want to see anyone else have a problem, and maybe not be as lucky as I was in not losing money. 

 I have noticed references to Leaflets on here lately.  So...buyer, beware!

I have ordered all over the place online, with no problems. However, it seems that everyone has the secure server for this purpose. I'm surprised that Leaflet Missal does NOT.

I'll stick with a snail mail order and a check.

You're welcome, VOW.  I just don't want to see anyone go through the hassle I had to in getting a new card...or the worry it caused me until I found out that my card wasn't used by this person.   

After that experience, I do notice these things.  So, I guess the lessons we learn in a hard way are the ones we remember most.
