Bernice had learned that she was dying through a sickness. She felt completely terrified that she was dying but she knew there was nothing she could do. She had cancer. Bernice had to cut off all her dark hair and let it be short because the rest would fall out. She had breast cancer. Bernice had no friends because she had been sick with cancer all during college. One day a young woman came to Bernice, she was named Ryan and she had blond hair and soft eyes. Ryan told Bernice about Jesus Christ. She shared a Bible passage with Bernice and Bernice told Ryan that she had cancer and was suffering. Ryan prayed with Bernice that she would heal and be safe and that no harm would come to her and that the love of Jesus Christ would comfort her. One day in the future Bernice's hair grew back, long and soft. Ryan and Bernice were still friends during that time. They lived in Colorado. At times Ryan would braid Bernice's hair and comb it. They stayed friends there whole life's and always supported each other. In Jesus Christ they both healed of their wounds.
