So the debate has inevitably spawned multiple memes. The most surprising one of course, was the one that resulted from a speech Biden gave a few days later.

Mr Biden’s family was concerned about his make-up at the presidential debate against Trump on Thursday, when he appeared “pale and pallid”, according to a report in the New York Times.
Four days later, Mr Biden had a darker complexion more often associated with Trump’s love of fake tan.

People are having some fun with this...here's a couple of examples.

And my personal favorite....

Some will see this as childish....but it highlights (pun intended) the real problem with the Biden-Harris Administration. Joe is a rubber stamp...not a leader. He ran in 2020 on "bridging the divide" between left and right and undoing all the wrong done by Trump. Now he's literally just doing Trump's platform....putting an end to asylum, tariffs on China, etc. One might ask...why?
The answer is simple...because he's a rubber stamp. He has no real platform or direction....he does as he's told. This is great if you're some bureaucrat with big dreams but no real power...you've got a rubber stamp. It's also great if you're some idealogue with no clue how the world works and you believe in open borders or all EV vehicles by 2030....rubber stamp. After all, you can't be blamed if these things fail...Joe will....
If you're wondering why Joe is still running....that's why. The regular Democratic Party establishment is still robbing the public and taking big money from corporations that want cheap labor. The idealogues will go along with almost anything (except supporting Israel or fixing higher education) as long as they get to inject their ideological nonsense into public school children and they get to try their fantasy version of a society where criminals run free, borders are open, "sustainable energy" isn't restricted by math or reality, and political opponents silenced or jailed.
The problem they seem to have failed to see is that a rubber stamp isn't a leader. It's not something to vote for. Democracy has an intrinsic aspect of accountability....if someone does a poor job, they can be replaced during the next election. The people who have their agendas rubber stamped by Joe are faceless....we don't know exactly who they are. In 2021 and early 2022...Joe would stand in front of the press, make statements, and then a day later the "white house" would explain that he made a mistake and those things he said he would do....aren't what he's doing. By late 2022...Joe slips and says "I do what they tell me to do" (paraphrasing) more than once. It's hard for anyone to convincingly suggest that Biden will improve over the next 4 years. If anyone imagines Harris will do better...consider how little she's actually done under an administration where a capable VP should have shined like a lighthouse in a fog. As comedian Tim Dillon put it...."she sounds like she speaks in gypsy curses".
These aren't reasons to vote for Trump. Obviously, some people will not vote for Trump if Biden died, they threw some aviator sunglasses on him, and his corpse was shuffled around the world in some weird "Weekend At Bernie's" type scenario. I understand that some vote blue no matter who. If however, you don't, consider the message you are sending to the Democratic Party if you vote for Biden this time around. You don't need any clear platform, you don't need any clear policies, there's no amount of failure you aren't willing to overlook, and it quite literally doesn't matter if the candidate they give you cannot read the teleprompter. You will have given them the green light to end any meaningful sort of democracy.
Force the Democratic Party run on something other than "we're not Trump"...because they're so desperate at this point, they're imitating Trump. Force them to push real candidates and if they can't find any leaders....force them to develop some. Force them to create real policies, real strategies, and real laws that improve our crumbling institutions. They know higher education is badly broken...shifting the cost to those who didn't get the loans or degrees solves nothing. It's all well and good that they want EVs...but we don't even have the power grid to charge them. Force them to justify sending 100 billion dollars to keep the Ukraine fighting while they run out of soldiers and this war never had to happen if they had negotiated a loss of territory that was ethnically Russian to begin with. They now appear to be on the brink of losing everything and Zelensky himself is curious about what sort of deals Trump thinks he can negotiate. Biden can't negotiate lunch....even the Saudis don't answer when he calls. Only our enemies seem to have a lot of praise for Biden....and that's not a good thing. Your lack of a vote can matter just as much as your vote this year.

Lol there's a throwback...

The real irony is this was a meme in right wing online basements before it happened.

An internal Democratic Party poll has put the party in a panic....because apparently, Biden is at risk of losing states that aren't even swing states like New Mexico and Colorado.

Consider the effect this debate has had on the left. They're scrambling to find a narrative that explains his debate performance and still gives a reason to vote for him. CNN in particular has to try and run some defense in order to keep the demographic they've been courting for the past 10 years.

This tactic is a "lesser confession". The man defending Biden is claiming that the debate is but one of a dozen or so incidents where Biden's brain had malfunctioned. The rest of the time...he's sharp as a tack and extremely capable. He is, in effect, confessing the existence of a smaller problem so that he appears honest when lying about the existence of a much larger problem.

The much larger problem is of course that the debate wasn't a one-off incident. Biden refused to debate any other Democratic Party challengers...because the same result would have happened. I doubt Biden's team wanted him debating Trump....as they had hoped to throw enough indictments at him to make him out to be a villian. You'd think that after this strategy failed to work the first 5 times, the Democratic Party would realize that it all looks politically motivated the more they continued doing it....and for some reason, they fail to understand that Americans associate these tactics with dictatorships. Putin throws political opponents in jail (then murders them). There's more African dictators than I can count that throw political opponents in jail. South American dictators and regimes do this....and we find it abhorrent. When Trumo merely suggested the Ukraine look into Biden's political corruption...Congress was ready to impeach him. Now they want Trump to stand trial for things we know Biden is guilty of, or past presidents are guilty of.....and the Dems can't understand why it's not working.

If Biden's campaign wasn't in such serious trouble....this debate never would have happened. Now it's obvious that a large portion of the news media has been lying...and the president is enfeebled.

Consider this man in any other important job. He's going to perform heart surgery on you...and while describing the procedure, he sounds like he did during the debate. You're finding a new surgeon. You go to get your car fixed at the mechanic....and Joe's the mechanic. You're finding a new mechanic. You're buying a life insurance policy, investing in a hedge fund, looking for a financial advisor....you're leaving halfway through Joe's pitch.

If Joe were a plumber and he spoke like that when describing the problem and how to fix it...I'd tell him he is at the wrong house lol.

President? No. The man is an international joke. The Saudis don't even answer when he calls.

If he steps down you'll know he was a placeholder for someone else who'd have less scrutiny. If they were concerned about his fitness there's a policy in place to address it. They could have done so a while ago but didn't. There's a reason they waited.

You know Trump never thought Biden planned to debate him.

When you go back and see some of the older footage of Trump...he's more politically savvy than I realized.

When you look at predictions from 2016 of the horrors of a Trump presidency....they're so overblown that they're basically just all wrong. You look at what Trump predicted would happen if Biden won and you find stuff like....

I don't know if another candidate can get on every ballot if he doesn't leave soon...there are some rules that allow for late changes, but many states have a deadline between August and September.

I think the panic is real....because all the Democratic Party chips were placed in the same strategy as 2016 and 2020....the "anything is better than Trump" strategy. I don't think Harris is anymore likable than Hillary...and she's a disaster without a teleprompter. If she was being prepped as a replacement....she had 4 years to shine. There's never been a weaker leader in office in our lifetime than Biden....she could have really pulled through for the Democratic Party. She didn't. She checked boxes for Biden in 2020....nobody really cares about those boxes in 2024. She was put in charge of the border....

Of course, maybe you think they're considering someone else....but who?

If Joe Biden was able to run without a live debate....no one would be discussing his withdrawal from the race and the Democratic Party along with the media would still be pretending that nothing is wrong with his brain and claims that he is mentally impaired would still be treated as if it were some right wing conspiracy.

All of which means it's considerably more likely that Trump will be reelected.

To come out and say "Biden is mentally unfit for office." was a genuine risk to the career of any Democratic Party member. This is the danger of an ideologically rigid political movement that has no real introspection and dismisses all criticism as bigotry.

It seems like part of the risk of a man with dementia is that he's not going to listen if everyone tells him to step down.

1. Those that are only a collection of his finest coherent sentences.

The survey prior to the last one had about 37% of voters believing him mentally fit for office and maybe 36% believing he should run for reelection.

By the end of the debate those numbers had dropped off about 10-12% each.

This is elder abuse to make him debate again.

Nah. I think the chances of him getting jail time are slim to none. Too risky. At this point, it would be like telling the public Derek Chauvin is sentenced to time served and free to go.

What did Kendrick Lamar say to Drake? They not like us and that's it in the nutshell. You can't apply normal thinking to people who live otherwise. They have a different code of ethics and play both sides. That's what's tripping everyone up. They're thinking black and white i.e. democrat and republican. But politicians serve wealth and power. They can advance their agenda through both. They don't have to choose. Look at the funding and the pork and you'll see it.

Of course, maybe you think they're considering someone else....but who?

Remember the media's function. They push a narrative or distract. You have to consider that before the analysis. Sometimes the story you need to look at isn't the one in the headlines. It's the one few are discussing that has the biggest impact in the long run.

I advised people to look into this a few years ago and they ignored it. I told them they were creating new robber barons and some people laughed. But here we are. If he's the crypto president he'll cut a deal on capital gains and related taxes for holders. They're funding him. He has to give them something in return.

Digital currency is the global agenda. Whoever gets elected will follow that road.
